RCOPH - Royal College of Ophthalmologists

The Royal College of Ophthalmologists are the only professional membership body for medically qualified ophthalmologists and for those who are undergoing specialist training to become ophthalmologists. The college has excellence in the practice of ophthalmology through standards in training, education, and assessment of ophthalmologists, supporting the promotion of research and innovation throughout the ophthalmic community.

ID Policy:

For RCOPH exam, the examinee must present one form of government-issued ID. The ID must be valid and must bear the signature and photograph and should be in English Language. Acceptable IDs include Passport and SMART CNIC.

It is very important that the name with which you register must exactly match the name appearing on your ID card. If there are any name discrepancies, then you would be asked for other valid IDs. Even then, if the name on your presented IDs does not match your registered name, the candidate will not be allowed to take the exam.

Test Availability:

At USEFP testing centres, RCOPH exam is offered four days a week, from Monday to Thursday, throughout the year.

Rescheduling/Cancellation of Exam:

The candidate must visit the RCOPH website (http://www.rcophth.ac.uk) for rescheduling and cancellation. The candidate is given 5 working days for initial schedule and 5 working days to reschedule or cancel.

Score Reports:

The candidate will receive the score reports after two or three weeks from the exam date. The exam pass lists will be published on the RCOPH website (http://www.rcophth.ac.uk). The candidates are not required to follow-up on the telephone contact as the results are published online.

Disability Services:

The candidates would be required to seek approval from RCOPH for special needs or testing accommodations. In case the candidate cannot find availability online for their exam duration must contact the Prometric website ( http://www.prometric.com) to be scheduled.
