ICMA - Institute of Chartered Management Accountants
The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants was established with the objective to regulate and promote the profession of Management Accounting. By virtue of the authority vested in by the Act and Regulations, the Institute has been entrusted with the responsibility to provide education, examine competencies, and confer internationally recognized post-graduate professional certification. After qualifying and fulfilling prescribed requirement of membership, the Institute awards following designations:
- Associate Cost and Management Accountant (ACMA)
- Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA)
For ICMA exam, the examinee must either present a valid and signed passport. If passport is not present, please email query to email@example.com along with the scan of available IDs.
It is very important that the name with which you register must exactly match the name appearing on your ID card. If there are any name discrepancies, then you would be asked for other valid IDs. Even then, if the name on your presented IDs does not match your registered name, the candidate will not be allowed to take the exam.
At USEFP testing centres, ICMA exam is offered four days a week throughout the year.
Exam Fees and Registration:
The exam fees for ICMA exams vary as per the module and specialization. The fee structure can be viewed by selecting the specific exam on the ICMA website: https://www.icmap.org.
The candidate registers through the procedure below:
- Go to the ICMA website ( https://www.icmap.org)
- Select Certifications and Accreditations
- Select the exam category,
- Register the exam.
Rescheduling/Cancellation of Exam:
The candidate must contact the ICMA for any rescheduling or cancellation and the associated fee policies.
ICMA will provide the official score report after 8 weeks of the exam. The candidates would be required to do any future correspondence with ICMA directly through email.
The candidates would be required to seek approval from ICMA for special needs or testing accommodations. After the approval is granted, the candidate would be required to visit the Prometric website (http://www.prometric.com) to schedule any testing accommodations or special needs services.
